How to set up Event Flow

Event Flow is a widget, so you need to place it on your homescreen from your widget list. If you need help placing the widget on your homescreen, try searching Google for “widgets on “, as the process for using widgets varies slightly depending on the specific Android version and your device model.
After you select the calendar or agenda widget and place it on your homescreen, the settings screen will appear. You can now make the changes you want and, when you’re done, tap the checkmark on the top right corner to place the widget.

Android has a default mechanism for apps and widgets to communicate between them, and it specifically defines some standard “requests” for calendar apps and widgets to communicate.
Event Flow doesn’t open any calendar app directly, instead it issues those standard requests to Android, which then checks which apps you have installed that can handle them, and launches the appropriate app.
Unfortunately, not all calendar apps support those standard requests, so they can’t be opened by external widgets. Not much i can do on my end. For it to work correctly (and according to Android’s standards) the calendar app would have to support those requests.
